I’ve recently had my heaven dream again. This time I decided to use watercolour and prizm pencil instead of acrylic.I’ve had a discussion with one of my wordpressfriends earlier in the year about this piece….
I finished this piece a few months ago, after I studied the dream again. This one was acrylic and marker. I would say I have this dream once or twice a year, every year since I was three. I can’t anticipate when it happens nor can I conjour it up on my own. Lol. When this dream occurs, the feeling around me is so inviting. The temperature is niether hot or cold, its a pleasant and embracing warm, I can see life in cities off in the distance….there’s no time, its a continual duskish/ dawnish skyline as seen in my interpretation of this dream. I used to always try to grab the fruit from the tree when I was younger, this would cause me to wake up, and waking up(not to sound ungrateful) did not feel good. It felt as if I took a shower and ran outside in the cold. In a sense, it felt like returning to this world. Now that I am older, when I have this dream, I am able to reframe from trying to grab the strange fruit that is on the tree. The cool thing about the dream is that I grow in it! I’m whatever age I am is this world, I’m the same age in the dream. Maybe this is a forshadow of heaven, maybe its a tree of the seed God planted in me… I’m not sure but I can’t wait to get back there…
